Gateway Initiatives is a set of services designed to provide low-income, 1st generation students with the necessary resources, academic skills, and appropriate referrals that will allow them to reach their maximum personal, academic, and career potential.

Umoja is a community and critical resource dedicated to enhancing the cultural and educational experiences of African American and other students.

Foster Youth Resilience in Education (FYRE) is an academic success program to aid current and former foster youth in their transition to, and through, university life.

 The TSC will facilitate meaningful conversations, workshops, and community building activities for Transfer students through our summer transitional workshop series, Transfer BOOST (“Beginnings and Open Opportunities for Successful Transfers”)!

The TSC Transfer Buddy Program is a program designed to help  current UCI transfer students thrive at UCI by assisting them as they navigate the campus.

The TSC provides supportive services to students who are incarcerated, formerly incarcerated, and system-impacted. We define system-impacted as a student who has been impacted by the incarceration of someone close to them or a student who has had contact with the legal system without incarceration.
