RUTH

Student Parents and Families (SPF) and Transfer Peer Mentor

My name is Ruth and I earned an Associate of Arts in Psychology from Santiago Canyon College. I am working on my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with a minor in Accounting. My experience at UCI has been a bittersweet journey because although I have been learning a lot, the time seems to be going by very quickly. During my time here I’ve made an effort to attend some of the events UCI has to offer; like workshops, the hiking club and study groups. I’ve also been lucky enough to have an opportunity to mentor other students this quarter. I love traveling, practicing yoga, tasting new dishes and going out with family and friends. I am looking forward to offering transfer students my experience and knowledge to help make the transition to UCI a fun and memorable experience.
