Tell us about yourself and your recent accomplishment: Hi, I’m Kevin Matson, a spontaneous, curious, and hardworking married man. I enjoy writing short stories that aim to be amusing and thought provoking. I have completed an independent study that looked at the intersection between fairy tales, folklore, and the television show Once Upon a Time. This research lead to me becoming a participant in UTeach where I completed more research in fairy tales and pedagogy, where I am now teaching a one unit seminar here at U. I have been a humanities core course peer tutor, and participated in an independent study that had me working on poetry with 5th graders at an elementary school, in a workshop style format.
